Projected Song
Saturday, June 25, 2011
Yo! JUNK Tune is back after a long time. I've been thinking of recording a song and video from a long long time.
Finally decided to do it, thought of a old style 8mm projected cinema concept. In order to get retro type sounds, i tried experimenting using a glass bottle-neck slide (wearing on the finger), added some high pitched tremolos along with harmonica. I used a faster than actual rhythm to make it sound interesting. Also i recorded guitars a one step higher in scale to match with the only G scale harmonica that i have.
Finally, a new JUNK Tune video - a cover of the old time classic song 'Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan' with some twist and style.
